Struktur Komunitas Dan Hubungan Konsentrasi Nitrat, Fosfat Terhadap Dinoflagellata Epifitik Pada Lamun Thalassia Hemprichii Di Perairan Pantai Nirwana, Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat
This research was conducted in July-August 2019 in Nirwana Coast, Padang City of West Sumatera. The aim of this research was to determine the water quality, the structure community of epiphytic dinoflagellates in Nirwana Coast and the relationship of concentration of nitrate and phosphate with the abundance of epiphytic dinoflagellate in Nirwana Coast. The survey method was applied in this research and sampling location was determined by purposive sampling. The water quality parameter have a range for salinity 28,67-31,67 ‰, temperature 30,33 – 31,67 oC, current speed 0,05 - 0,08 m/det, pH 7-7,33, nitrate 0,05- 0,08 mg/l and phosphate 0,02 - 0,03 mg/l. Six genera of epiphytic dinoflagellates were recorded namely Prorocentrum, Gambierdiscus, Ceratium, Amphisolenia, Ostreopsis and Dinophysis with the average value of abundance range from 141,17-189, 25 sel/g. The mean value of diversity index range from 1,95 - 2,42, the dominance index value range from 021-0,27, and the uniformity index value range from 0,94-0,98. The correlation of nitrate concentration with epiphytic dinoflagellate abundance was positive with r=0,41 and the correlation of phosphate concentration with epiphytic dinoflagellate abundance was positive with r = 0,28.
