Jenis Dan Kepadatan Moluska (Bivalvia Dan Gastropoda) Pada Ekosistem Lamun Enhalus Acoroides Di Perairan Desa Jago-Jago Kecamatan Badiri Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah Provinsi Sumatera Utara

The presence of gastropod and bivalve in seagrass ecosystem has an important role in the structure of the food chain. Gastropod and bivalve are the class of mollusca that are known to be well associated with seagrass ecosystems. The aims of study are not only to determine the type and density of seagrass, but also to determine the structure of bivalve and gastropod communitie in seagrass ecosystem and determine the relationship between seagrass density with bivalve and gastropod density. This research was conducted in November 2018 at Coastal Area of Jago-Jago Village, Badiri District, Tapanuli Tengah District, North Sumatra Province. The method of this study was survey method. The dominant seagrass vegetation have founded at the study field was the seagrass type Enhalus acoroides. Five species of gastropod were found namely; Nerit acostata, Cerithhium cingulata, Ergalatax margariticola, Cerithhium zonatum, Pyrene epamella. Gastropod density was founded at each research station about 7.2 – 9.65 ind/m2. Four type of bivalve are namely; Anadara granosa, Periglypta reticulate, Tapes literatus and Trachycardium subgrosum.. The density of bivalve was founded at each research station about 5.77 – 7.99 ind/m2. The relationship of seagrass density with bivalvia density obtained the correlation coefficient (r)value was 0.781, where the relationship of seagrass density with bivalve density was in the category of strong relationship and the relationship of seagrass density with gastropod in Jago-Jago Village, density obtained the correlation coefficient (r) value was 0.861, where the relationship of seagrass density with bivalve density is in the category shows a very strong relationship. The higher the value of seagrass density, the better the density of gastropod and bivalve.
