Kajian Sifat Fisik Dan Kimia Tanah Pada Berbagai Landuse Di Lahan Gambut Provinsi Riau
Natural peatland forests converted can alter the physical and chemical properties of the soil. The aim of this research is to know whether the change of physical and chemical properties of the soil after the change of land function from peatland forest to palm oil plantation, HTI Acacia crasicarpa, and sago plantation as well as sustainable crops on peatlands. The results showed bulk density (BD), particle density (PD), soil temperature and soil pH increased after existence. Water level increases. Chemical properties such as C-organic, ash content, KTK, basic saturation, macro nutrients (NPK) and bases can be changed also undergo changes after undergoing landuse changes, will nothing be accommodated by the law made by the government in pp No. 25 Year 2000 on criteria of peat damage and government regulations. 150 of 2000 on the control of soil damage for biomass production. Sago is the most sustainable plant compared to others because it contains changes in physical and chemical properties of the soil not too much different from other landuse that is planted in the long term.
