Sintesis Dan Karakterisasi Hidroksiapatit Dari Cangkang Lokan (Geloina Coaxans) Dan (Nh4)H2po4 Menggunakan Membran Cangkang Telur Sebagai Biotemplate Dengan Bantuan Microwave
Hydroxyapatite (HAp) is a stable composition of calcium phosphate and is an inorganic material in human hard tissues such as bones and teeth. Hydroxyapatite synthesis from lokan (Geloina coaxans) shells using egg shell biotemplate has been successfully carried out. Lokan powder (Geolina coaxans) calcined 1000 oC for 12 hours to obtain CaO which was analyzed using X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF). XRF analysis showing the main chemical composition of the lokan shell (Geolina coaxans) was CaO of 98.254%. The results of SEM hydroxyapatite using egg shell membrane biotemplate with mass variants of 0.05, 0.1, 0.15 and 0.3 g indicate that the greater the biotemplate mass added, the morphology of hydroxyapatite has more pores and the distance between adjacent pores can thus applied as an absorbent because with the presence of pores and a large surface area HAp can bind ions.
