Uji Beberapa Dosis Tepung Sirih Cina (Peperomia Pellucida L.) Dalam Mengendalikan Hama Callosobruchus Chinensis L. Pada Biji Kacang Hijau Di Penyimpanan
Callosobruchus chinensis L. is pest of green bean in storage. C. chinensis pest control is usually performed using synthetic insecticides, however the unwise of them use can cause negative impacts to humans and the agricultural environment, then necessitating alternative insecticides that are safer and environmentally friendly such as Peperomia pellucida L.. The aim of this research is to find a dose of Peperomia pellucida L. flour which is effective in controlling of Callosobruchus chinensis L. pest at green beans in storage. Research conducted at the Laboratory Plant Pests, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University from January to March 2019. Experiments were carried using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 4 replications Treatments tested were doses Peperomia pellucida L. flour 0 g.100 g-1 green beans, 2 g.100 g-1 green beans, 4 g .100 g-1 green beans, 6 g.100 g-1 green beans, 8 g.100 g-1 green beans and 10 g.100 g-1 green beans. Results showed that Peperomia pellucida L. flour with a dose of 6 g.100 g-1 green beans was effective in controlling the C. chinensis pests and can caused total mortality of C. chinensis as much as 85%, with initial time of death is 6,50 hour, lethal time 50 is 40,50 hour, increase in individuals by 52 C. chinensis and caused decreased seeds weight green bean 0,60%.
