Pengaruh Kompetensi Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Melalui Motivasi Kerja Bagian Pengirimman Paket Pt.Pos Indonesia (Persero) Cabang Pekanbaru

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of competence on
employee performance through the work motivation of PT. Pos Indonesia
(Persero) Pekanbaru Branch. This research was conducted at PT. Pos Indonesia
Pekanbaru, which focuses on shipping, is located at Jl.Jendral Sudirman
Pekanbaru City, Riau Province. The number of samples that will be the object of
this study amounted to 103 employees with the census method. Analysis of the
data used is path analysis. Based on the results of research in which competence
has a significant effect on work motivation. In addition, competence and
motivation have a significant influence on employee performance. Path analysis
explains competence directly has an influence on employee performance at PT
Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pekanbaru Branch through work motivation with a total
value of influence of 0.848 in the strong category. While the R Square value of
81.4% explains that competence can affect employee performance through
motivation at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pekanbaru Branch while the remaining
18.6% is influenced by other variables not used in this study.
