Hubungan Konsentrasi Nitrat, Fosfat Dan Silikat Dengan Kelimpahan Diatom Planktonik Di Perairan Meral, Kabupaten Karimun
the inclusion of water nutrients from human activities (residential, agricultural and industrial) could potentially lead to a change in physics, chemistry and biology in the s study waters. This study aims to determine the relation of the concentration nitrate, phosphate and silicate with diatom abundance in the Meral waters, the methode used is a survey methode, the determination of location of the sampling location was done by purposive sampling, data analysis using statistik analysis (regression). Based on the results of laboratory analysis nitrat concentraction ranging from 0.003 to 0.051 mg/l, phosphate concentrations rang from 0.076 to 0.086 mg/l and silicate 0.043 to 0.052 mg/l. diatoms abundace in the meral waters ranged 90,30 to 208,30 ind/l. The results of statistical analysis of the relationship between nitrate, phosphate, and silicate with diatom abundance with multiple regression y = 58.460 + 904.562nitrate – 251.562phosphate + 1573.489silicate. This statement explains that positive nitrate and silicate (+) concentrations have an abundance of diatoms and phosphates associated negative (-) on the abundance of diatoms. this condition indicates that the concentration of nutrients in these waters is relatively high which affects the abundance of diatoms.
