Hubungan Kecerdasan Emosional Dengan Perilaku Moral Anak Usia 5-6 Tahun Di Tk Cendana Rumbai Pesisir Kota Pekanbaru

This study aims to determine the level of relationship between emotional intelligence and moral behavior of 5-6 years old children in kindergarten Cendana Rumbai Coastal Pekanbaru City. The sample in this study amounted to 63 children. The method used in this research is quantitative correlation to see the relationship between independent and dependent variables. Data collection techniques used are observation. Data analysis technique uses Person Product Moment correlation test with the IBM SPSS for Windows Ver program. 23. From the results of the study note the level of emotional intelligence is in the sufficient category with a percentage value of 69.26% and the level of moral behavior of children is in the adequate category with a percentage value of 66.07%. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and moral behavior of children aged 5-6 years at CendanaRumbai Coastal Kindergarten, Pekanbaru City. This can be seen from the correlation coefficient of rxy = 0.665 and the resulting determinant coefficient of KD = r² x 100% = 44.20% has the meaning that emotional intelligence has an effect of 44.20% on moral behavior.
