Pengaruh Campuran Limbah Cair Tahu Dengan Limbah Cair Pabrik Kelapa Sawit Yang Difermentasi Em4 Terhadap Pertumbuhan Chlorella Sp. Pada Media Air Gambut
Mixing of tofu liquid waste with palm oil mill liquid waste and added with EM4 (fertilizer) has been carried out and is proven to increase the content of organic matter. This research was conducted in March - April 2019. To find out the best fertilizer concentration for growing Chlorella sp., 7 fertilizer treatments were made namely: P0 + (0% + 400 mL Dahril Solution 1), P0- (0%), P1 (40% ), P2 (45%), P3 (50%), P4 (55%), and P5 (60%). At each treatment, 3 liters of media was made then added with 300 ml of Chlorella sp, and cultured for 14 days. The parameters measured were algae abundance and biomass, concentrations of nitrate, phosphate, dissolved oxygen, free CO2, chlorophyll-a, pH and temperature. The results showed that the best media as fertilizer was P3 (50%), namely 12,812,000 cells/ml and biomass 0,0168 g/ml. The highest nitrate concentration was found on the first day of 11.76 mg/L and decreased to 0.11 mg/L on the 14th day. The decrease in nitrate and phosphate occurred because these materials had been used by algae. The data obtained shows that the mixture of fermented tofu liquid waste with palm oil mill liquid waste can be used as fertilizer for Chlorella sp.
