Efektivitas Ekstrak Daun Bruguiera Gymnorrhiza Dalam Menghambat Pertumbuhan Aeromonas Salmonicida, Aeromonas Hydrophila, Dan Edwardsiella Ictalurid
ABSTRACT
The research was conducted in August-November 2019. Sample taken from mangrove town of Dumai, Riau. Then continued in the Integrated Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and Laboratory of Fish Quarantine and Quality Control Hall Pekanbaru, Riau. The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of the extract of mangrove leaf B. gymnorrhiza in inhibiting the growth of A. salmonicida, A. hydrophila, and E. ictaluri and find the best dose. The method used in this research is an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) using 4 concentrations of 12.5%, 25%, 50%, and 100%, negative control and positive control and 3 times repetition. Based on the research results, mangrove leaf extract B. gymnorrhiza has the ability to inhibit the growth of bacteria A. salmonicida, A. hydrophila, and E. ictaluri. The results of antibacterial test indicate the presence of a clear zone stating the presence of antibacterial activity. The best concentration to inhibit the growth of bacteria A. hydrophila, A. salmonicides, and E. ictaluri is a concentration of 100% and the lowest yield is at a concentration of 12.5%.
