Identifikasi Mikroplastik Pada Air Laut Dan Organ Pencernaan Ikan Senangin (Eleutheronema Tetradactylum) Di Kawasan Pesisir Kecamatan Dumai Barat

ABSTRACT
Dumai City is one of strategic coastal areas which located as the northern gate of Riau Province. Increasing of the community activities, make the domestic waste hihgher, and some of its entering the water of Dumai City. One of the wastes currently accumulated in seawater is microplastic waste that is thought to be able pollute or affect aquatic ecosystems. This research was carried out in November 2019 by taking a sample in the coastal area of West Dumai District. Samples to be analyzed are seawater samples and biota samples. Analysis of seawater samples using the method that carried out by Hastuti (2014), whereas analysis of biota samples used the method by Rochman et al, (2015). The results of this study indicate that the type of microplastic found in seawater and Senangin fish (E. tetradactylum) are type of microplastic fiber, fragments, and films. Pellet type microplastic was not found in this study. Microplastic abundance in seawater samples ranged from 333,3333 - 456,6667 particles/m3 and microplastic abundance in Senangin Fish (E. tetradactylum) ranged from 966,6667-1933,3333 particles/ ind. After doing the one-way ANOVA test, results in seawater samples at each station were not significantly different from the sig value (0.603)> 0.05. The results of linear regression tests for the abundance of microplastic particles on the total length of the Senangin fish obtained the correlation coefficient of determination R2 = 0.0738 and the correlation coefficient r = 0.2717 with the regression equation Y = 2672.1 - 39.983x it means that relation between microplastic abundance in digestive organs of senangin fish with total length is weak.
