Pengaruh Total Quality Management (Tqm) Terhadap Kinerja Karyawan Pada Pt.Riau Lingga Indrasakti (Lingga Cargo) Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the effect of Total Quality Management
(TQM) on employee performance using three independent variables namely
training and education, employee engagement and empowerment, and team work
with the dependent variable,namely performance of the employee.
The population in this study is all employees working at PT Riau Lingga
Indrasakti (Lingga Cargo) in Pekanbaru. The sampling using saturation or
census sampling techniques, including the entire all of population in this study is
the sample, so that sample found in this study was 42 respondents.The data was
tested with a validity test, a reliability test and a classic assumption test. The
analysis method used in this study is quantitative analysis and multiple linear
regression analysis using the SPSS 23 for Windows program.
The results of this study show that 1.) Training and education has a
positive and significant impact on employee performance both partially and
simultaneously; 2.) Employee engagement and empowerment have a positive and
significant impact on employee performance both partially and simultaneously,3)
Teamwork has a positive and significant impact on employee performance both
partially and simultaneously. The calculation result of the coefficient of
determination (R2) of 0.687. This means that the effect of Total Quality
Management (TQM) on employee performance is 68.7%. The remaining 31.3%
are affected by other variables that are not included in this model
