Strategi Adaptasi Mahasiswa Kristen Di Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Syarif Kasim Riau

This research was done in Sultan Syarif Kasim Islamic State University. The aim of this research is to know and analyze the adaptation strategy of Christian Students in Sultan Syarif Kasim Islamic State University. This research is a qualitative which analyzed descriptively. Theory that used in this research is ‘Adaptation Theory’ by Pierre Bourdieu. In this research, there are six informants. The technique in the way of sample taking is Purposive Sampling. The result of this research shows that the Christian Students in Sultan Syarif Kasim Islamic State University could adapted in the campus, by learning to accept and follow the rules, making an approach with the other students and lecturers. This research also shows that the Moslem students welcome them warmly and the Christian students often get assistance from friends and lecturers, when they can’t understand in learning about Islamic study, so that they can adapt well.
