Struktur Komunitas Bivalva Pada Ekosistem Mangrove Di Kampung Madong Kelurahan Kampung Bugis,Kota Tanjungpinang, Kepulauan Riau
Mangrove area in the Madong Village has been decrease due to
anthropogenic activities. Decrement in mangrove ecosystem may negatively affect
the aquatic organisms in general, including bivalves. To understand the bivalve
community structure in the mangrove ecosystem, a research was conducted on
July 2019. There were 3 line transects and, in each line, there were 9 plots (1×1
m) placed. Results shown that there were 6 species of bivalves present, namely
Gafrarium sp, Isognomon bicolor, Chamelea striatulla, Brachidontes
adamsianus, and Barbatia sp. The bivalve abundance was ranged from 25,185 –
55,185 organisms/ha; mangrove density 444 – 922 trees/ha. The diversity index
(H’) was 1.37 – 1.54; dominance index (C) was 0.40 – 0.53; equitability index (E)
was 0.54 – 0.77. Relationship between mangrove density and bivalve abundance
was weak Y = 18.07+1.05X
