Morfometrik, Meristik Dan Pola Pertumbuhan Ikan Lomek (Harpodon Nehereus) Di Pangkalan Pendaratan Ikan (Ppi) Kota Dumai Provinsi Riau

ABSTRACT
Lomek are economically valuable fish that live in the waters of the Rupat
Strait. Information about morphometric, meristic and growth pattern of lomek fish
is needed in studying Fish Biology, and this information is still limited. This study
aims to find out about morphometric, meristic and growth pattern of lomek fish.
This research has been carried out from April-May 2019. Fish sample have 100
with a long-range of 34-173 g. 28 morphometric characters were measured and 6
meristic characters that were counted. The calculation result of lomek meristic is
D.12-13, P.9-10, A.14-15, V.9, C.15 and added with th presence of fat fins
(Adofise fin) which has a length of ±10mm. The growth pattern of male lomek
fish is negative allometric (value of male lomek fish b is 2,957) , female lomek
fish is positive allometric (value of female lomek fish b is 3,218), while for the
combined growth pattern of male and positive allometric (value of male and
female lomek fish combined with b is 3,1053).
