Kualitas Dan Distribusi Spasial Karakteristik Fisika Kimia Sungai Siak Di Kota Pekanbaru
The Siak River is one of the biggest and the deepest in Riau Province wich flows through Siak Regency, Rokan Hulu Regency , Kampar Regency, Pekanbaru City. Siak Rivers is the deepest in Indonesia with a dept of about 18 meter and a length of 300 kilometers. Siak River is used by society for bathing, washing, dringking water sources, routes of transportation, place for living aquatic biota, and at the same time as place to dump palm oil industry waste, plantation, house hold and waste of harbor.
All activities around the Siak River will give contribution of waste disposal that causes changes in water quality. Research and scientific literature that studies about source of pollutants in the Siak River around the city of Pekanbaru is still very rarely done or never, There fore, study to the assessment of pollutant source in the Siak River around the city of Pekanbaru using multivariate analysis is very important to do. This study analyzes condition of the Siak river art the present time, with the aim to finding out the quality and physical – chemical characteristic distribution of the Siak River’s water around Pekanbaru City, using principal component (PCA), this study uses instrument quality measurement water in situ and ex situ in the laboratory.
This study aims to analyze from research the quality and spatial distribution of the physical – chemical characteristic Siak River in Pekanbaru City. The research method is survey method. Data collected in the form of primery and secondary data, primary data is a measurement of the physical –chemical parameters measured directly field and the data will be analyzed in the laboratory. Secondary data is the other supporting data obtained from relevant agencies and subsequently the second of the data are analyzed statistically and discussed inferential statistics.
The result of this study indicates that quality of the waters siak river arround Pekanbaru City is very poor, seen from IKLP in six stations that have a range of values from 13,7 - to 16,4 with NSF-WOI criteria is very poor. Water quality at the six (6) stations are classified as poor and decreases in quality from upstream to downstation clue of the waste. The correlation of the water quality characteristic are 74,3 main factor 1 (F1) 47,4 % and main factor 2 (F2) 26,7 % with the main characteristic of the fecal coliform, phospat and nitrate. Based on the denclogram, there are three levels of kinship where Stations 1, 2 and 4 have same parameter characteristic, the Stations 3 dan 5 ,followed by station. The Highest pollution at Station 6 (estuary Sail River) shows in the characteristic of high temperature, PH, TSS, turbidity and fecal coliform density which is directly proportional to level pollution in the area.
