Analisis Stok Karbon Tersimpan Pada Lamun Enhalus Acoroides Di Pulau Benan Kabupaten Lingga
This research was conducted in February 2020 at Benan Island, Katang
Bidara Sub-District, Lingga Regency, Riau Islands Province. This research aimed
to determine the value of density, biomass, and carbon stock in seagrass, E.
acoroides. The method used in this study was a survey method, the location in
which the data was being collected consider representing the waters of Benan
Island. The density of E. acoroides ranges from 22.67 to 31.22 ind/m2. E.
acoroides is divided into two parts, namely the top of the substrate or above
ground biomass (Agb) and the bottom of the substrate or below ground biomass
(Bgb). The average value of seagrass biomass ranges from 1,113.27-4,412.24
g/m2. The highest carbon stock is in the rhizome at Station I (2,134.46 gC/m2) and
the lowest is in the leaf at Station II (363.08 gC/m2). Biomass and carbon stock in
the Bgb part is higher than the Agb part.
