Kualitas Pelayanan Publik Di Kota Pekanbaru (Study Tentang Pelayanan Transmetro (Di Kota Pekanbaru)

Pekanbaru City Government has issued a policy of transportation services known as the Transmetro Pekanbaru Public Transport System (SAUM), which is implemented based on the Decree of the Minister of Transportation No. 111 of 2009, Transmetro Pekanbaru or commonly referred to as the Busway TMP as a rapid rapid transit bus transportation system in Pekanbaru city. Several cities in Indonesia have developed the system. TMP buses have been accepted by the people of Pekanbaru City as a means of public transportation, so that the growth of Transmetro Pekanbaru passengers is getting better, this is because the Transmetro Pekanbaru is more comfortable, safe, economical and reliable.
The purpose of this study was to determine how the quality of the Pekanbaru City Transmetro service and to determine the Quality Factors of the Transmetro Pekanbaru Service. This research uses qualitative with explorative research type. Primary data were obtained directly through interviews from informants, namely the Head of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Department, and the Pekanbaru Transmetro User Community.
The results showed that the Pekanbaru City Government had several inhibiting factors in improving the quality of services such as the limited human resources that were still negligent in serving the community as a center of service improvement, supporting facilities and infrastructure such as special transportation problems for Transmetro Pekanbaru who wanted to visit and the bus to the bus stop is still unpredictable according to schedule and still requires more funds than the provision of infrastructure to support the improvement in the quality of the service and is still not optimal in completing passenger trips that have not yet been responded to maximally, qualified human resources in this field experience the service improvement expected by Steakholder is still not maximal.
