Analisis Kebijakan Revitalisasi Masjid Raya Pekanbaru Provinsi Riau

Cultural heritage objects in Law Number 11 Year 2010 concerning Cultural Heritage are man-made, movable or immovable objects, in the form of units or groups, or parts or remnants of at least 50 (fifty) years old, or represent a period of style that is unique and represents a style period of at least 50 (fifty years) and is considered to have important value for history, science, and culture and natural objects which are considered to have important value for history, science, and culture. In 2009, Masjid Raya Pekanbaru entered a revitalization project conducted by the Riau Provincial Government.
The purpose of this study was to determine the Riau Provincial Government's policy towards the revitalization of Masjid Raya Pekanbaru and to determine the obstacles and driving factors in the revitalization of Masjid Raya Pekanbaru Province Riau . The type of research is Descriptive, which is research conducted to analyze and describe in detail about the indicators of the research variables. For the analysis method used is a qualitative approach that is reasoning the variables studied narratively in the form of information. Information was obtained from research informants.
The results of the study found the basis for revitalizing Masjid Raya Pekanbaru which is Riau Governor Regulation Number 34 of 2007 concerning the Establishment of Organization and Work Procedures of the Revitalizing of the Masjid Raya Nur Alam Pekanbaru- Riau as well as the ownership status or management of Masjid Raya Pekanbaru Cultural Heritage Building which is owned by the State and is managed by the Riau Provincial Government and the Preservation Hall of West Sumatra Cultural Heritage. Changes made by the Revitalization Board of Masjid Raya Pekanbaru Area violate the decision of the Minister of Culture and Tourism Number: KM.13 / PW.007 / MKP / 2004 concerning the establishment of the Siak Palace, Masjid Raya Pekanbaru operates in the Riau Province region as Cultural Heritage Objects.
