This study aims to describe the phenomenon of the civil war in Syria, as well as the involvement of America and other countries that have strategic interests in the Syrian conflict. American intervention is based on American interests in two ways, political and economic.
This research is theoretically built using the perspective of Neorealism, with the theory of foreign policy and supported by the concept of national interests. The formulation of all arguments, data, facts, and theoretical frameworks in this study uses a qualitative explanation method. This study also uses the nation-state as its level of analysis.
This study aims to describe the form of United States intervention in the civil war that has erupted in Syria since 2011. The intervention was carried out by providing assistance to recognized opposition groups. The author of any assistance has been given America to the Syrian opposition groups.
