Peran Save The Children Dalam Mengurangi Tindakan Bullying Terhadap Pelajar Di Provinsi Jawa Barat Tahun 2015-2019
International Relations Studies have developed from discussing about high-politics issues to low-politics issues. One of the low-politics issues that gets attention these days is child violence. The 2020 UNICEF report states that the cases of child violence have increased globally, especially bullying, in which one of the victims is students. In Indonesia, to be precise in West Java Province, there has also been an increase in bullying against students. Save the Children as an international organization that cares about the protection and fulfillment of children's rights has an ideal responsibility to reduce bullying against students in West Java Province. This study examines the role of Save the Children in reducing bullying against students in West Java.
This research uses Pluralism perspective and David and Nazneen's theory of international organizations. The research method is library research where the data used is primary data from articles and documents on the official website of Save the Children and government agencies in West Java that are related to bullying in West Java. Secondary data is in the form of news reports, especially from online media.
Based on the analysis of the data collected, it is concluded that Save the Children has various roles in its efforts to reduce bullying against students in West Java Province, including as an initiator for the formation of Child and Family Support Centre (CFSC) and participate in the framework of advocating for West Java Provincial government regulations that affect the reduction of bullying against students in West Java Province.
