Analisis Keberlanjutan Pemanfaatan Perikanan Tangkap Di Sungai Kuala Napuh Kecamatan Pangkalan Kuras Kabupaten Pelalawan
Kuala Napuh River is one of the rivers in Pelalawan Regency and is a
source of livelihood for the people in Kesuma Village. Nearly 90% of the people
depend on the fish caught in this river. However, according to data released by
the Pelalawan Regency Fisheries Service in 2017, there was a decrease in
capture fisheries production compared to capture fisheries production in 2016.
Where in 2016 the capture fisheries production was 243.34 tonnes while in 2017
capture fisheries production was 237.06 tonnes , there was a decrease of 6.28
tons from 2016. Seeing this, this research was conducted with the aim of knowing
the sustainability of the use of capture fisheries in the Kuala Napuh River,

velocity, DO, BOD, nitrate and phosphate, water substrate and sedimentation.
The samples were tested at the Marine Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of
Fisheries and Marine, Riau University, Pekanbaru. In addition, primary data
were also collected such as data on the average production of captured fisheries
products per trip, average fishing operational costs per trip, average income per
trip, number of trips for 1 year. Analysis of the sustainability of capture fisheries
utilization using Rapfish Software (Rapid Assessment Technique for Fisheries)
with Multi-Dimensional Scaling (MDS) analysis
The results showed that the environmental quality conditions of the Kuala
Napuh River waters in Kesuma Village were still supportive for fish life, where
the water quality parameters measured were still in accordance with Government
Regulation Number 82 Year 2001 concerning Class 3 Water Quality Management
