ABSTRACT
The parking area of the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication of UIN SUSKA
Riau consists of a parking area for two-wheeled vehicles and four-wheeled
vehicles. The parking area for two-wheeled vehicles is on the right side of the
Da'wah and Communication Faculty of UIN SUSKA Riau and the parking area
for four-wheeled vehicles is in front and on the left of the Faculty of Da'wah and
Communication of UIN SUSKA Riau. The parking area for motorbikes at the
Faculty of Da'wah and Communication is quite large. Visitors who parked their
vehicles in random places made parking spaces narrow and disturbed traffic
around the Faculty. The method used to determine the need for parking space is a
method based on the largest difference between vehicle arrivals and departures.
The purpose of this study was to determine the parking requirements and the level
of vehicle parking usage at the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication, UIN
SUSKA Riau. The characteristic form of parking uses an angle of 90 ° for two
wheels and 45 ° for four wheels. Parking lots for two-wheeled and four-wheeled
vehicles are still feasible to use but have to redesign the parking lot.
