Sekolah Tinggi Desain Pekanbaru Dengan Pendekatan De Stijl
ABSTRACT
Education is one of the sources of human resource providers that are needed in
the creative industry world, one of them is design education. It is very unfortunate
if this education is not supported by adequate infrastructure and facilities.
Therefore, we need a container that can accommodate these activities. The
container to accommodate the design education activities can be in the form of a
College of Design. Over time, this design education underwent several
developments that were born from harsh criticisms from artists in the past, which
gave birth to various groups, one of which formed De Stijl's approach. This study
aims to link the De Stijl approach with the concept of the Golden Section, in the
design of buildings of the Design College in Pekanbaru. Discussion with the
method of analysis description which aims to describe the discussion of the design
of the Pekanbaru Design College, which is in accordance with the De Stijl
Approach.
