Pusat Komunitas Permainan Tradisional Melayu Di Meranti Dengan Prinsip Desain Frank O Gehry

ABSTRACT
Kepulauan Meranti Regency is a Regency on the East Coast with great potential to
advance from the tourism sector, one of which is Traditional Game Tradition. With
the existence of traditional games, the area is more well-known by local and foreign
communities, it's just that in Meranti Regency there are still very few supporting
facilities as a place to carry out these activities, with very far and separate access to
go to each of these games it is difficult for tourists and communities to participate in
supporting the existence of these traditional games. To support these activities in
order to remain implemented and easily accessible, the Traditional Malay Game
Community Center is needed as a forum for the Traditional Game Communities in
Meranti to carry out various activities. In designing the Malay Traditional Game
Community Center using the design theme of the Frank O Gehry Design Principles,
the thought of the design is in accordance with the function in which Frank O Gehry
himself is a Postmodern architect by not forgetting the local culture. The Malay
Traditional Game Community Center in Meranti With the Frank O Gehry Design
Principles is expected to help the communities in Meranti to carry out activities that
can trigger the advancement of the area.
