ABSTRACT
Riau art that comes from the influence of outside culture in Riau society,
this create the creativity and activities of art that become the cultural identity of
Riau. Which then produces the best artists in Riau. Riau Art College in Pekanbaru
is a place to study and develop creativity in the arts. By applying Kenzo Tange's
design principles, it is able to apply local culture as its architectural identity.
Through the concept of 'Iringan Menghadapi Gelombang Zaman' and transformed
with Kenzo Tange's design principles, it is able to realize the design of the
atmosphere of Riau's local culture that enhance creativity and work through
architectural elements.
