Pengaruh Ekonomi Filipina Bergabung Dalam Belt And Road Initiative (Bri) Tiongkok

The Paracel and Sparatly regions are areas in the SCS where there are
respective claims from the Chinese and Philippine sides. These two countries
gave claims on the Chinese and Philippine sides during Aquino's reign. It was
different during the Duterte administration who chose to collaborate with China
and join the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). Therefore, this study was conducted
to explain the influence of the Philippines joining the BRI policy.
This study uses the perspective of liberalism in which state actors are
important actors in international relations. This study was analyzed using the
nation-state analysis level. This study uses interdependence theory, which states
that the interdependence of the country's economy is through BRI. This research
method uses qualitative methods.
This research shows that the collaboration between the Philippines and
China through BRI can improve the Philippine economy through an increase in
infrastructure development in the Philippines, an increase in the number of
foreign tourists visiting the Philippines and, for the Philippine export to China
enough to give a significant increase, because the Philippine exports are quite
fluctuating.
