Kepentingan Amerika Serikat Terlibat Dalam Konflik Domestik Venezuela Tahun 2019

This research discusses about the interests of the United States in
engaging in the presidential dualism conflict that is currently happening in
Venezuela. The United States' interest in this crisis is to maintain control over oil
and gas producing countries. A lot of cooperation has been established between
the two countries, especially in the energy resources sector.
Broadly speaking, the United States is involved in the current crisis in
Venezuela emphasizing the existence of an interest structure in seeing the
phenomenon of international relations in five dimensions. The five dimensions are
military, political, environmental, economic and social. In this case, the United
States has a relationship with Venezuela with the aim of maintaining or changing
certain actual conditions. Such interference can be done with rights or not, but it
is always about the external freedoms or territories or advantages of another
country, and of all this has an important impact on the country in its international
position.
Behind the foreign policy of the United States which supports Juan Guaido
as President of Venezuela is the reason for the United States' interest to be
involved in the Venezuelan domestic conflict in order to safeguard its interests
related to oil resource exploration and to protect US assets in Venezuela.
