ABSTRACT
The development of the creative industry, especially in the field of
animation, is increasing and expanding. The use of animation now covers all
fields, starting from the world of entertainment, education, and now animation is
also widely used in the business world as a medium to promote goods and
services. The development of Pekanbaru people's interest in the world of
animation is not very visible. To be able to increase the public's interest in
animation, we need a container that can accommodate the skills and creativity of
the animator to work in accordance with the field they are good at, namely
animation. This animation studio design is located in the city of Pekanbaru and
functions as a production house and office. Norman Foster's design principle
method is an approach used as a solution in designing buildings that have space
flexibility, use interesting structural forms, and of course follow technological
developments that will be in line with the building's function, namely the
Animation Studio.
