ABSTRACT
Pentosane number is a number that shows low levels of hemicellulose, especially
xylans found in dissolving pulp. Dissolving pulp is white pulp which has alpha
cellulose and a high degree of brightness and has low extractive, hemicellulose,
and ash content. At PT RAPP the pentosan data comes from the results of the
Technical Department checking using the distillation method with a target of
pentosan number
