Isolasi Dan Identifikasi Mikroalga Dari Rawa Gambut Kecamatan Tapung Sebagai Rancangan Modul Untuk Materi Protista Kelas X SMA
Peat swamps are wetlands that are flooded periodically or
continuously for a long time, have high color intensity, low pH (pH 3-5) and high
content of organic compounds. This study was conducted to determine the types
of microalgae that can be isolated and identified from the peat swamps of Tapung
District which are used in designing the protist material module for class X SMA.
This research was conducted in the Peat Swamp, Tapung District and the Biology
Education Laboratory, FKIP University of Riau, in August - November 2020.
This type of research is an exploratory descriptive study with survey methods, in
order to obtain local microalgae from the peat swamps of Tapung District by
isolation and identification. The research procedure was carried out in 3 stages,
namely the stage of taking samples in the field, observing samples in the
laboratory and designing modules. Based on the research results obtained 10 types
of microalgae, Chlorella sp., Chlamydomonas sp., Selenestrum sp., Chlorococcum
sp., Gonium sp., Nitzchia sp., Tablelaria sp., Anabaena sp., Gleocapsa sp., and
Euglena sp. Meanwhile, based on the potential analysis of the research results, it
can be used as a material module for protist class X SMA at KD 3.6. and 4.6.
