Komunikasi Lingkungan Pelestarian Lahan Gambut Sebagai Destinasi Wisata (Studi Kasus Pada Arboretum Gambut PT.Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning)

Environmental communication is a form of safety against plants located in
the peat arboretum of Pakning River.Because all elements feel responsible for the
environment around the arboretum area, because it has been based on awareness
of the surrounding environment.The purpose of this research is to analyze
strategies, patterns and supporters and inhibit environmental communication in the
preservation of Peat Arboretum land as a Tourist Destination in Pakning River,
Java Village, Bukit batu, Bengkalis- Indonesia.
This research applied qualitative research method type. Qualitative
research is one of the research methods that are descriptive and tend to look for a
meaning from the data obtained from the results of a study.This method is usually
used by a person when going to research related to social and cultural
problems.While the type of case study used for this research is intrinsic the focus is
on the case itself, because it is considered unique or unusual.
The uniqueness of plants located in the peat Arboretum area is the diversity
of species of semar bag plants and rat kelat wood as a characteristic in the peat
Arboretum.Therefore it needs to be preserved so that rare plants that become
tourist attracters can be maintained and developed properly.In this case, the
preservation of peat Arboretum is inseparable from good cooperation between
PT.Pertamina RU II Sungai Pakning with the management and community
empowerment to strengthen people's understanding about environmental
conservation so that tourism destinations are realized as ecowisa and educational
tourism.
