Kepentingan turki mengirim bantuan militer kelibya tahun 2020

This study aims to explain the reasons or interests of Turkey in
sending military aid to Libya in 2020, which has invited many
international responses. This is increasingly attracting attention where
before the delivery of military aid, Turkey and Libya signed the MoU on
Security and MoU on maritime delimitation on the same day.
The research method used in this research is explanation with the
qualitative research type. The data collection technique of this research is
library and the internet research, which is to collect information and data
related to this research both in the literature and the internet. This study
uses the theory of 'foreign aids' to explain the purpose of Turkey's military
assistance to Libya.
This study shows Turkey's efforts to help the Libyan government
based on the background of cooperation, past Turkey-Libya relations, and
also the goals that Turkey wants to achieve politically and economically.
The changing direction of Turkey's foreign policy, geopolitically and
strategically changed priorities following the Ottoman heyday where
Turkey's influence was getting stronger in Europe, Asia and Africa,
especially the Middle East. Turkey's policy of sending military aid to Libya
was able to make Turkey an important country for Libya, with Turkey's
success in reversing the map of the Libyan war which led to conflict
resolution. Even for the Middle East, Turkey has succeeded in showing its
political and military strength.
