Modal Sosial Pada Bisnis Online “Warung Segar” Di Pekanbaru
Social capital in the “Warung Segar” online business in Pekanbaru. This
research was conducted at Jalan Garuda Sakti km1, Panam Pekanbaru. The
purpose of this study is to find out how social capital is the elements of social
capital; and the obstacles experienced in running the “Warung Segar” online
business both online and offline. This research uses descriptive qualitative
research method. Subjects in this study amounted to 6 people. The technique of
determining the informants is by using purposive sampling technique. Purposive
sampling is taking the subject by setting specific criteria or characteristics that
are in accordance with the research objectives so that they can answer research
problems. In collecting data, researchers used observation, interviews and
documentation. The theory used is the theory of social capital proposed by
Putnam which consists of social networks, social norms, and trust. The results of
this study are that social capital in its application to the “Warung Segar” online
business is very important, such as utilizing social relations in maintaining the
“Warung Segar” online business. Social norms are present in the midst of
cooperation which is formed as a benchmark to be directed. Trust make the
“Warung Segar” online business alive and makes it easy for managers to run a
business because in running a business the manager together makes a
commitment with a knotted trust. The obstacles faced in carrying out social
capital both online and offline are problems that arise between parties who build
cooperation who do not fully understand the prevailing norms so that some are
disappointed and disadvantaged.
