Pengaruh Pemberian Pupuk Hijau Lamtoro (Leucaena Leucocephala) Dan Pupuk P Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Kedelai (Glycine Max (L.) Merril)
ABSTRACT
Soybean (Glycine max L.) is a food commodity that is used as a source of highly
nutritious food for humans. Along with the increase in population, the need for soybeans
from year to year is increasis, especially in Riau Province. Soybean productivity increase
needs to be fertilized both organic and inorganic fertilizers. One of the organic fertilizers
given is lamtoro green manure and inorganic fertilizer containing P nutrients. This study
aims to determine the effect of giving lamtoro green fertilizer, the effect of adding P
fertilizer, and the effect of the interaction between lamtoro green manure and P fertilizer on
plant growth and production. This research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of
the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Pekanbaru. The study was carried out for 4
months, from October 2018 to January 2019. The study was conducted experimentally in
factorial using a completely randomized design (CRD). The first factor is the dose of
lamtoro green fertilizer which consists of 3 levels: 10 ton.ha-1, 15 ton.ha-1 and 20 ton.ha-1.
The second factor is the dose of phosphorus fertilizer (TSP) such as: 0 kg.ha-1, 50 kg.ha-1
and 75 kg.ha-1. Parameters observed were plant height, number of nodes, age of flowering
plants, age of harvest, number of pithy pods per plant, number of normal seeds per plant,
production per m2 and weight of 100 seeds. Data were analyzed using variance followed by
Duncan's multiple new range test at 5% level. The results showed that the application of
green lamtoro fertilizer increased plant height, accelerated flowering and increased soybean
production per m2. The application of P fertilizer increases plant height, accelerates
flowering age and increases soybean production per m2. The interaction of lamtoro green
manure and phosphorus fertilizer increased soybean plant growth such as plant height,
flowering age and production per m2, but not on number of nodes, age of harvest, number
of pithy pods per plant, number of normal seeds per plant and weight of 100 seeds. The
application of 20 ton.ha-1 green lamtoro fertilizer and 50 kg.ha-1 phosphorus fertilizer
resulted in good growth and production of soybean plants.
