Pengaruh Medium Tanam Dan Komposisi Larutan Nutrisi Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Selada ( Lactuca Sativa L.) Secara Hidroponik Substrat

ABSTRACT
The research was carried out by combining these two factors with the aim
of knowing the growth and yield of lettuce hydroponically on the planting
medium of cocopeat, husk charcoal and a mixture of husk charcoal with cocopeat
given Super Bionic liquid organic fertilizer (LOF) and AB Mix nutrients.This
research was conducted at the Technical Service Unit of Experimental Gardens,
Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, Bina Widya Campus Km 12.5, Simpang
Baru Village, Tampan District, Pekanbaru starting from November 2018 to
January 2019. The research was a factorial design experiment arranged according
to completely randomized design. The first factor was growing medium which are
the husk charcoal, cocopeat and mixed husk charcoal with cocopeat. The second
factor was nutrition solution composition which are the 50% LOF + 50% AB Mix,
50% LOF, 100% AB Mix nutrient, 75% LOF + 25% AB Mix nutrient and 25%
LOF + 27% AB Mix nutrient. The parameter observed were plant height, stem
diameter, number of leaves, plant fresh weight and root volume.The data obtained
were then processed statistically using varian and followed by Duncan’s multiple
distance test at 5% level.The treatment mixed husk charcoal and cocopeat with
100% AB Mix nutrient could increase plant height, stem diameter, number of
leaves and fresh weight of lettuce plant. Planting medium mixed cocopeat with
husk charcoal can increase plant height, stem diameter, number of leaves and
plant fresh weight. The composition of AB Mix nutrient did not give significant
effect toall parameters.
