Pengaruh Pupuk Phonska Dan Jarak Tanam Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Hasil Tanaman Kacang Tanah (Arachis Hypogaea L.)
ABSTRACT
Demand on peanuts in Riau Province is always increasing every year, whle the
production is decreasing which makes the demand on the peanut is ot fulfilled. Efforts need
to be made to overcome these obstacles, such as the provision of Phonska fertilizer to help
absorb plant nutrients and suitable spacing for planting peanuts. This study aims to determine
the effect of Phonska fertilizer and plant spacing on the growth and yield of peanuts and to
get the right treatment to increase the growth and yield of peanuts. The research was carried
out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University, starting from
March to June 2019. This research is a factorial experimental study arranged according to
RAL with two factors. The first factor is Phonska fertilizer which consists of four levels,
namely P0 : 0 kg.ha-1, P1 : 100kg.ha-1,P2 : 200kg.ha-1 and P3: 300 kg.ha-1. the second
factor is the spacing which consists of two levels, namely J1:40 cm x 20 cm and J2:40 cm x
40 cm. The parameters observed in this study were plant height (cm), number of primary
branches per plant (branches), age of flowering plant, number of failed gynophores per plant
(gynophore), number of pods per plant (fruit), percentage of pithy pods. (%), percentage of
seeds in pods per plant (%), weight of wet pods per m2(g), weight of dry pods per m2(g),
weight of dry seeds per plant (g), weight of 100 dry seeds (g), and harvest index (%) .The
results of the analysis of variance were continued with the BNJ test at the 5% level. The
application of Phonska fertilizer and plant spacing was able to increase the growth and yield
of peanut plants on the parameters of the percentage of pithy pods, weight of 100 dry seeds,
and harvest index. The application of Phonska fertilizer can increase the growth and yield of
peanut plants on the parameters of the percentage of pithy pods, weight of 100 dry seeds, and
harvest index. Spacing can increase the growth and yield of peanuts on the parameters of the
number of primary branches per plant, number of pods per plant, wet pod weight per m2, dry
pod weight per m2, dry seed weight per plant and harvest index. The combination of Phonska
fertilizer dose of 200 kg.ha-1 and spacing of 40 x 20 cm gave the best growth and yield of
peanuts.
