Uji Beberapa Konsentrasi Ekstrak Tepung Biji Sirsak (Annona Muricata L.) Terhadap Mortalitas Larva Penggerek Tongkol Jagung (Helicoverpa Armigera H.)
Helicoverpa armigera Hubner is a major problem in maize cultivation. H.
armigera can cause a yield loss of production 40%. Control using vegetable
insecticides soursop seed extract (Annona muricata L.) is an alternative control of
H. armigera. This study aimed to obtain an effective concentration of soursop
seed flour extract to kill H. armigera larvae in corn. This research was carried out
at the Plant Pest Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Riau University from August
to October 2020. This research was conducted experimentally using a Completely
Randomized Design (CRD) with six treatments and four replications so that 24
experimental units were obtained. The treatments were concentration of soursop
seed flour extract 0 g.l-1 water, 20 g.l-1 water, 40 g.l-1 water, 60 g.l-1 water, 80 g.l-
1 water and 100 g.l-1 water. The results showed that the concentration of 100 gl-1
of water was an effective concentration in killing H. armigera larvae by 85% with
the fastest early death time at 9.00 hours, lethal time 50 at 45 hours after
application, the highest daily mortality occurred on the third day, namely 30%
after 5 days after application.
