The Purpose of this Research is to find out about performing Social functions in
improving in-care services int the medical center. When it comes to public
interest, the ministry is equally important. The public feels that service is a right.
However, the right of people or individuals to get the services of government
personnel does not seem to meet the expectations of all. It is an indication that
both in the community and the public service government have not become a
culture and often harm the community receiving the services. The public health
center (center) is an organization under ministry of health of the republic of
Indonesia that serves to provide public health services to communities in sibdistrict
or region. Social functions in performing their role as health-care provider are
supported by several officers made up of medical personnel, medical officers, npn
medical officers, public relations. Hospitalization is a form of treatment where
patients are treated and left in the hospital for a period of time. Data collection
techniques are done with interviews, observations, documentations, library
studies. The results show that the administration of the center has not been well
underway the means and insfrastructure are not good enough. And the obstactle
is the lack of medical personnel. Public’s ignorance of the social functions of
service itself.
