Pengaruh Pupuk Hijau Lamtoro Dan Pupuk P Terhadap Pertumbuhan Dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea Mays Saccharata Sturt.)
ABSTRACT
Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt.) is a food crop that is widely
cultivated in Indonesia. Sweet corn has economic value and a good nutritional
content. This study aims to see the effect of the interaction and single factor of
green lamtoro fertilizer and P fertilizer and to get a good combination of
treatments on the growth and production of sweet corn plants. This research was
carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau
University, from August to October 2019. This research was carried out
experimentally in the form of a factorial design. The first factor is lamtoro green
manure which consists of three levels, namely (0, 5, 10) ton.ha-1 and the second
factor is P fertilizer which consists of four levels, namely (0, 23, 46, 69) kg
P2O5.ha-1. The observational data were analyzed for variance and continued with
the Duncan New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at the 5% level. Based on the
results of the study, the interaction of green lamtoro fertilizer with P fertilizer did
not significantly increase the growth and production of sweet corn plants. The
application of green lamtoro fertilizer significantly increased P content, plant
height, weight of cob without husks and production per m2 but did not
significantly increase harvest age, weight of cob with cob, length of cob with cob
and length of cob without cob. The application of P fertilizer significantly
increased the P content and length of the cob without, but did not significantly
increase the plant height, did not significantly increase the age of harvest, the
weight of the cob on the cob, the length of the cob on the cob and the production
per m2. The best combination of the results of this study was obtained lamtoro
green manure 10 ton.ha-1 with P 69 kg P2O5.ha-1 fertilizer.
