Kualitas Pelayanan Pemeriksaan Kapal Dalam Karantina Pada Kantor Kesehatan Pelabuhan Kelas III Dumai
One of the functions of the port health office is checking the arrival of
ships in quarantine (In Clearance). This is in accordance with Law Number 06 of
2018 regarding health quarantine. Health Quarantine activities at the Entrance
Gate and in the area are carried out through observation of diseases and Public
Health Risk Factors for Transport Equipment, people, Goods, and/or the
environment, as well as responses to Public Health Emergency in the form of
Health Quarantine actions. The purpose of this research is to analyze the quality
of inspection services for ships in quarantine. To identify the inhibiting factors in
providing inspection services for ships in quarantine at the Dumai Class III Port
Health Office. This research was conducted at the Dumai Class III Port Health
Office. The informants in this study included the head of the Dumai class III port
health office or his representative, the Section Head of the Dumai Class III Port
Health Office, the chairman of the ship agency association and ship agents who
participated in the implementation of ship inspection services in quarantine. With
the results of the study that the Quality of Service for Inspection of Ships in
Quarantine at the Class III Dumai Port Health Office was good and analyzed
from 5 indicators, namely Tangibles, Empathy, Reliability, Responsiveness,
Assurance and obstacles from carrying out inspections of ships in quarantine at
the Dumai Port Health Office Class III Dumai. are officers who are less
competent in carrying out their duties, as well as inadequate human resources
and lack of coordination between officers and ships and inadequate inspection
infrastructure.
