The Micro small and Medium Enterprises program in Dumai City organized
by the Cooperatives and Micro small and Medium Enterprises Service is an effort
to increase the empowerment of MSMEs in Dumai City, especially in Sungai
Sembilan District so that they can be better and move up to class and be able to
become a supporter of the regional economy. The purpose of this research is to
determine the effectiveness of the Micro small and Medium Enterprises
Empowerment Program in Sungai Sembilan District in Dumai City and to analyze
the Impact of the Micro small and Medium Enterprises Empowerment Program on
increasing the income of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sungai
Sembilan District, Dumai City. The research methodology used is qualitative
research with the research location of Micro small and Medium Enterprises in
Sungai Sembilan District, Dumai City.The subjects of the research above are the
Head of the emporwoment Division of the Dumai City industry, cooperation ,micro
small and medium or in Sungai Sembilan District, Micro small and Medium
Enterprises business actors in Sungai Sembilan District by discussing the
effectiveness of the Micro small and Medium Enterprises Program into 5 different
indicators, namely Program Understanding, Right Target, Timely , Achievement of
Goals, Real changes that the implementation of the Micro small and Medium
Enterprises program has been effectively implemented, but there are still
improvements and developments so that MSMEs can increase their business results
and the inhibiting factor of implementing the program is socialization which still
needs to be improved and there is still a lack of support from local companies in
contributing to building regions through the empowerment of Micro small and
Medium Enterprises.
