The Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance Program (BSPS) is a self-help
housing assistance program that requires community involvement as program
recipients in the success of the program, both from the preparation stage and
the implementation stage. The formulation of the problem discussed in this
study is how the level of community involvement in the implementation of the
Self-Help Housing Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) program in Nagari Kapau
Alam Pauh Duo, Pauh Duo District, and what factors affect the level of
community involvement. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of
community involvement in the implementation of the Self-Help Housing
Stimulant Assistance (BSPS) program in Nagari Kapau Alam Pauh Duo, Pauh
Duo District and to find out what factors influence the level of community
involvement in the implementation of the assistance program. The theory used
in this study is the theory of community participation by Keith Davis. Data
analysis used a descriptive method with a quantitative approach, the data
collection technique in this study was using the census method or saturated
sampling which is a sampling technique if all members of the population are
used as samples, while the respondents in this study amounted to 45 people.
From the results of this study, it can be concluded that the factors that affect
the level of community involvement with the high category are money
involvement and the low level is the involvement of energy and thoughts and
the level of community involvement in the BSPS program in Nagari Kapau
Alam Pauh Duo, Pauh Duo district, is categorized as high.
