Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Transformasi Kepala Sekolah Dan Iklim Sekolah Terhadap Sekolah Efektif SD Negeri Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis
This study aims to analyze the effect of principal transformation leadership
and school climate on effective schools at public elementary schools in Mandau
District, Bengkalis Regency. The background of the problem in this research is
education staff or teachers. There are still many teachers who do not meet the
qualifications required by the government, even though the government always
guides teachers to work professionally. To work professionally, of course, need to
be supported by adequate qualifications. However, the reality on the ground is
that there are still many teacher recruitments that do not match their
qualifications. This is because there are still many shortages of teachers in
several schools, thus demanding that these schools take teaching staff beyond the
required qualifications. Likewise, there are still teachers who have S1 who teach
not according to their educational background. Whereas a job is said to be
professional if what is done is in accordance with his expertise. With conditions
like this, the input support, both in terms of infrastructure and in terms of
education personnel or teachers, must be able to improve and improve its quality
standards so that effective schools can be realized. Based on the findings in the
field, from a total of 759 teachers, there are 546 or 72% of teachers in Mandau
sub-district that are in accordance with the S1 qualification standard, while the
remaining 213 or 28% of teachers do not/do not comply with the S1 qualification
standard with various educational backgrounds ranging from high school. /Equal.
As for the teachers who have S1 totaling 619 people, who teach according to
educational background, the remaining 140 people teach not according to their
educational background. The population in this study were teachers in the
Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency, which amounted to 759 teachers. Sampling
in this study was carried out using a simple random sampling technique so that a
sample of 262 teachers was obtained. Data collection techniques used are
questionnaires and documentation. The questionnaire (questionnaire) was
conducted by providing responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert
scale. While the documentation technique is used to collect additional data such
as data on names and the number of teachers. Analysis of the data used is
descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. After conducting research and data
analysis, it was found that the influence of the transformational leadership of the
principal (X1) and school climate (X2) on effective schools (Y) in the State
Elementary School, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency, which was shown by the
transformational leadership of the principal (X1) on effective schools (Y) with a
regression coefficient value of 0.260; sig.
