Pengaruh Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dan Budaya Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Guru SDN Kecamatan Bagan Sinembah Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to analyze the influence of principals' leadership and
organizational culture on the performance of SDN teachers in Bagan Sinembah
District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this research is
that teachers do not have optimal teacher performance. There are still many
teachers who carry out their duties and their performance is not in accordance
with the tasks given. This suboptimal performance situation, in this study, was
analyzed by linking the principal's leadership and organizational culture.
Principal leadership is needed so that teachers can carry out their duties properly
in accordance with the rules to achieve educational goals. The better the
principal's leadership in carrying out his duties, the better the teacher's
performance. In addition to the principal's leadership, another factor that
influences teacher performance is organizational culture. Organizational culture
is a set of characteristics of the work environment, which are assessed directly or
indirectly by teachers who are considered to be the main force in influencing
teacher behavior. This illustrates that organizational culture is a state or
condition in a series that directly or indirectly, consciously or unconsciously can
affect teachers.
Quantitative type, sample 70 people and. Data were collected by using a
questionnaire to determine five choices and then the data were analyzed using
descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the study revealed a significant
influence of principal's leadership on teacher performance and obtained a
significant influence of organizational culture on teacher performance. In
addition, there is a significant influence of principal's leadership and
organizational culture on the performance of SDN teachers in Bagan Sinembah
District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This finding concludes that the better the
principal's leadership and organizational culture, the better the teacher's
performance. This research is expected to be useful for improving teacher
performance with principals' leadership and organizational culture in carrying
out their obligations when carrying out learning activities and fostering students
in schools.
