Pengaruh Kompetensi Profesional Dan Komitmen Organisasional Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Guru Sekolah Dasar Kecamatan Mandau Kabupaten Bengkalis
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of professional
competence and organizational commitment on job satisfaction of elementary
school teachers, Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency. The background of the
problem in this study is job satisfaction that there is no reward or compensation
for teacher work performance, the atmosphere at work is very uncomfortable.
They are treated differently from other teacher friends. Along with the
development of various ways of communicating today, causing professional
competence and organizational commitment of teachers to play an important role
in determining teacher job satisfaction. Teacher job satisfaction is an important
target in human resource management, which must be a concern for school
principals because they can directly or indirectly affect school organization.
Damage to schools can be caused by low teacher job satisfaction which is
characterized by professional competence and teacher organizational
commitment and other negative symptoms. The population in this study were all
elementary schools in Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency, as many as 759
teachers. Sampling in this study was carried out using a simple random sampling
technique so that a sample of 262 teachers was obtained. The data collection
technique used is a questionnaire questionnaire which is carried out by providing
responses to the questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. While the data
analysis used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. After conducting
research and data analysis, it was found that the effect of professional
competence (X1) and organizational commitment (X2) on teacher job satisfaction
(Y) at the Elementary School Mandau District, Bengkalis Regency, which was
shown between the professional competence variable (X1) on teacher job
satisfaction (Y) with a score of regression coefficient of 0.421; sig.
