This study raises the issue of 1) Is there an influence of organizational culture on the optimism of high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir? 2) Is there an effect of the work environment on the optimism of SMA teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir? 3) Do organizational culture and work environment together influence the optimism of high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir?
This study aims to determine and analyze 1) the influence of organizational culture on the optimism of high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir? 2) the effect of the work environment on the optimism of high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir? 3) the influence of organizational culture and work environment together on the optimism of high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir?
The population of this study were high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah sub-district, Rokan Hilir, totaling 121 people and the sample of this study was 93 high school teachers in Bagan Sinembah sub-district, Rokan Hilir. The type of data from this research is primary data and secondary data for those obtained from teachers using questionnaires. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. Processing of data for descriptive statistical analysis in this study using Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 23 for Windows.
The results of this study indicate that there is a significant influence between organizational culture variables (X1) and work environment (X2) on teacher optimism (Y) at SMA Bagan Sinembah District, Rokan Hilir.
