Pengaruh Temperatur Operasi Terhadap Rugi - Rugi Elektrik Generator Sinkron Di Pt. Perkebunan Nusantara V Sei. Galuh Tapung, Kampar, Riau
ABSTRACT
Generator is an electric machine that converts mechanical energy into electrical
energy. In its use a generator that operates continuously to match the needs of the
load being served. Generator output power is affected by the value of copper
losses. Meanwhile the value of copper losses is influenced by 2 (two) parameters,
namely load current and stator resistance. The increasing temperature of the
synchronous generator when operating results in an increase in the value of the
stator resistance and causes the copper losses to increase. The results of the
generator research at the Steam Power Plant (PLTU) PT. Nusantara Plantation V
Se. Galuh value of copper losses is proportional to the increase in the value of the
stator resistance and load current. When the generator serves a load of 170 kW
with a time interval of 5 (five) hours, the value of the stator resistance increases
by 0.15 to 0.168 with T 31.2ºC so that the value of copper losses from 13.5 kW
becomes 15.03kW. When the generator serves a load of 110 kW with the same
time interval, the value of the stator resistance increases 0.15 to 0.154 with T
1.28ºC so that the copper loss value is 7.24 kW to 7.47 kW. When the generator
serves a load of 60 kW with the same time interval, the value of the stator
resistance decreases from 0.15 to 0.160 with T -0.8ºC so that the copper loss
value is 4.86 kW to 5.18 kW.
