Manajemen Pelaksanaan Ekstrakurikuler Dalam Pembentukan Karakter Siswa Di SD Negeri 12 Bengkalis

The problem that is used as the basis for the focus of this research is the
existence of management in the implementation of extracurricular activities to shape
the character of the school at SD Negeri 12 Bengkalis. National education based on
Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia functions to
develop capabilities and shape the character and civilization of a dignified nation in
the context of the intellectual life of the nation. In Law no. 20 of 2003, concerning the
National Education System, education is defined as a conscious and planned effort to
create a learning atmosphere and learning process so that students develop their
potential to have religious spiritual strength, as well as the skills needed by
themselves, the nation's community and the state. Supporting factors in the
implementation of extracurricular activities at SDN 12 Bengkalis are facilities and
infrastructure, funds used to finance all the needs or requirements of carrying out
extracurricular activities, students who are very enthusiastic in participating in or
carrying out extracurricular activities, as well as supervisory teachers who are
competent in their fields. It is hoped that the principal of SDN 12 Bengkalis is
advised that the management system for the extracurricular activity program at the
school should always be prioritized and improved so that it always survives and has
quality so that it becomes better and perfect in the next extracurricular activity
program.
