Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Kesiapan Guru Ekonomi Dalam Menghadapi Era Revolusi 4.0 Di SMA Swasta Kota Pekanbaru
A teacher's readiness to teach cannot only be measured by his personality
and abilities in the field of teaching alone. However, there are various things that
contribute to it. Factors that influence teaching readiness are factors that come
from within humans (internal) and also from outside humans (externals).
This study aims to determine and analyze the factors that influence the
readiness of economics teachers in facing the 4.0 revolution era in Pekanbaru
Private High Schools which are determined by the principal's support,
collaboration, and teacher creativity.
This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this
study were all private high school economics teachers in Pekanbaru which were
collected from 27 private schools with a total sample of 112 economics teachers.
The sampling technique was carried out by proportional random sampling. Data
was collected by using a questionnaire technique. Stages of data analysis begins
with analyzing descriptively, then multiple regression analysis is carried out.
Data processing is done with the help of SPSS version 25.0 for windows.
The results of the study found that the support of the principal had a
significant effect on the readiness of private high school teachers in Pekanbaru
City in facing the 4.0 revolution era with the indicator that had the highest
percentage, namely support in terms of providing ICT facilities. This support will
make it easier for students to prepare for the 4.0 revolution era, teachers will
know that the principal thinks about the best interests of the teacher, so the higher
the support from the principal, the more prepared teachers will be to face the 4.0
revolution era in schools.
There is a significant influence between collaboration on the readiness of
private high school teachers in the city of Pekanbaru in facing the 4.0 revolution
era with the indicator that has the highest percentage, namely the ability of
teachers to collaborate with administration, which means that collaboration that
occurs involves more school administration staff or school administration in
support the smooth learning process. The emergence of teacher involvement is a
factor that affects teacher readiness in solving problems together in the face of the
4.0 revolution era
There is a significant influence between creativity on the readiness of
private high school teachers in facing the 4.0 revolution era with the indicator
that has the highest percentage of finding and creating new ideas and
opportunities for students by providing subject matter. This situation is proof of
the teaching creativity of teachers which can indirectly affect their readiness to
face the 4.0 revolution era
